Compared to New York, Los Angeles and the Hollywood scene, the density of casting agencies for actors in Switzerland, and namely Geneva is really low. The same for model agencies. I am always happy to help actors and aspiring models of all ages pursue their dream of being on stage or in front of a camera rolling.
And I always appreciate discovering my images for the casting agencies when helping them to get their first steps in the professional career.

MEET Amandine, Aspiring actress

Meet Amandine, an emerging talent on the brink of her acting career, eager to catch the eye of leading casting directors and advertising agencies. Unlike the dimly lit, unfavourably angled smartphone snapshot initially sent by her mom, the actor headshots and portraits we crafted together tell a different story.

In our session, we focused on lighting techniques that wouldn't overwhelm her delicate features but instead would enhance her natural confidence and poise—qualities every casting director looks for. The result? A series of headshots that radiate ambition and the unspoken promise of a star in the making.

Tonio came all the way from Schaffhausen to Geneva for his actor’s headshot and portrait session after researching for the best photographer in the field. After our discussions earlier on the phone, we agreed going for the moody look for the roles that he is looking to play.

When Dimash called me to update his portfolio, I was very pleased to see this well-groomed man where intensive looks and intelligence came together in perfect harmony. We created a series of gritty and intense headshots and portraits with an extra level of depth.

Aspiring Model Bela Sharma

Bela called me up one day saying she loves my work and thinks I am the best photographer in the area to help her create her casting book for model agencies. Her Indian origins, and her smart witted mind as a university student really made this photoshoot really inspiring and great fun! I am so happy that she signed with London based model agency Base and wish her all the luck for her future projects.

Aspiring Film Actor Kristian Jelusic

Kristian came to see me to build his book to pursue his dream of working in the movie industry. While the timeframe of the shoot allowed for different clothes options, in the end we went for the relaxed grey t-shirt. Since Kristian is into sports and action movies, and his hero is Dwayne « The Rock » Johnson, I thought it was appropriate for him to go for that look. I was very happy to see his casting file online : ) Looking forward to seeing him in upcoming movies!

Younes

Younes was sent to me to creating a book for starting his modelling career. Since he was in great shape I asked him to take his shirt off for a part of the photoshoot. While this was the first time ever in front of a camera he did great!

BALLERINA SOPHIA SHAW

When Sophia contacted me, she was dancing for the Junior Ballet team of the Grand Théâtre de Genève. For her next steps in her career she came to see me to refresh her headshots for casting. Fun fact: this Canadian never skied in her life, as to prevent injuries that would refrain her from dancing. #careergoals Delivered her images in both horitontal, cropped version, as well as the more traditional vertical images for the book.

Stage Actor Lucas Pfister

Lucas is a young Swiss stage actor who has been in several theatrical productions already. The way I took his headshots was to make him look a bit older, edgier, so that he would be more eligible for different age roles. Looking forward to seing his theatre acting develop!
