Showcasing Leadership with Precision: My Photographic Collaboration with EXPERTsuisse Geneva
In my recent project for EXPERTsuisse, the umbrella organization for leading Swiss fiduciary, accounting, and audit firms, I had the honor of photographing the Geneva chapter headed by President Frédéric Berney. The assignment involved more than just taking portraits; it was about capturing the prestige and professionalism that these top decision-makers embody.
After some location-scouting to handle different weather conditions, near their meeting space at the FER Fédération des entreprises romandes Genève, I opted for a setting by the Rhône river overlooking Geneva’s banking district, ensuring the backdrop was distinctively Swiss without resorting to clichéd images like the Jet d'Eau. This serene environment mirrored the financial expertise of the individuals I photographed.
Despite the challenging midday summer light, my technical skills ensured high-quality results. I meticulously directed each session, adjusting poses and angles to produce unique yet cohesive portraits that meet EXPERTsuisse's requirements for individual profiles. These images were then being used in a series of articles showing consistency and variety enhancing the visual storytelling of EXPERTsuisse.
Exploring New Horizons with EXPERTsuisse's Newest graduates
In a recent endeavor, I expanded my collaboration with EXPERTsuisse by capturing the dynamic graduates of the organization at their workplaces. This assignment offered me an exclusive glimpse into the offices of prominent firms like Ernst & Young, KPMG, Schellenberg Wittmer, LODH Lombard Odier, and Berney Associés in Geneva.
Faced with varied lighting conditions—from the bright afternoon sun outdoors to the more subdued and structured office environments dominated by concrete—I opted for a warmer tone in my photography. This approach not only provided visual consistency across the different settings but also differentiated this series from the earlier ones featuring the organization's senior members.
The goal was to create a fresh, yet distinct series that conveyed the vibrancy and forward-thinking nature of these young professionals. Through my lens, I aimed to blend their youthful energy with the professional environments they thrive in, thereby reflecting the evolving face of the financial sector in Geneva. This series underscores the adaptability of my photographic style and reinforces the narrative of innovation and progress within EXPERTsuisse.
